Marco Bezzecchi will be eager to maintain his good form at the
Malaysian MotoGP and register his second win of the 2025 MotoGP season.

The Aprilia Racing rider claimed a podium spot at the Australian MotoGP on 19 October, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Bezzecchi started on the second grid and he went on to finish third, while also making it back-to-back sprint event victories in MotoGP and he left Australia with 28 points.
MotoGP title ambitions
The 2023 MotoGP third-place finisher is now placed third in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 282 points from 19 races.
Bezzecchi is eight points above fourth-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati with three races left as the duo battle it out for the third-place spot.
Why Bezzecchi could win the 2025 Malaysian MotoGP
The Rimini-born Italian is arguably the most in-form rider in MotoGP right now, having won the sprint event at the Indonesian MotoGP and Australian MotoGP.
Having won the 2025 British MotoGP, Bezzecchi will be under pressure to win the Malaysian MotoGP in order to consolidate his place (third) in the Riders' standings.
What did he say?
“It's been nice. Super tough because I honestly never thought about the victory. Only the journalists thought about it, but I didn't even expect a podium," Bezzecchi said after finishing third at the 2025 Australian MotoGP.
“When the race was going on, I tried my best to be [as] far [at the front for] the moment that I did the first long lap, to not finish inside the pack. And my strategy fortunately worked well. To be completely honest, it was the strategy from my team, not me.
“Then after the second long lap, fortunately, I was only sixth. So better than I expected... Raul (Fernandez) was super good this weekend and I felt good also with the bike. All the Aprilia factory is working in an amazing way. So let's say that it's ok like this.”
